Architectural Designer

Job Description

We are looking for an innovative Architectural Designer to join our talented team in San Antonio. In this role, you will create architectural designs that meet both aesthetic and functional needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and sustainable design practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from initial concept through final installation.
• Work closely with the marketing team to promote architectural offerings and project successes.
• Mentor junior designers and interns, providing guidance and support.
• Evaluate existing structures in preparation for remodels or restorations.
• Integrate sustainable practices within architectural solutions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lead Architect.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• BIM Software
• Building Code Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Team Leader
• Detail-Oriented

Certifications

• CAD Certification or similar qualification
• Sustainable Design Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Green Building Standards.: Knowledge of green building certifications and standards.
• Experience in public sector projects.: Experience managing or designing projects for public clients.
