Drop Tester

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Drop Tester to join our quality assurance team. This role entails performing various drop tests to assess the durability of products. The successful candidate will analyze data, identify weaknesses, and suggest improvements to enhance product design and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform drop tests to evaluate product durability and compliance.
• Create and present detailed analysis reports of testing results.
• Work with product development teams to implement design enhancements.
• Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and in proper working condition.
• Research and integrate new testing techniques and equipment.
• Facilitate safety training sessions for team members involved in testing.
• Keep comprehensive records of all tests conducted and their outcomes.
• Collaborate on product development projects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify potential hazards related to testing methods and propose mitigations.
• Conduct periodic reviews of testing procedures to ensure they meet industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in product testing or a similar field preferred
