Job Description

We seek a dedicated Tankroom Tender to oversee the maintenance and operation of tanks and other chemical equipment in our facility. Your responsibilities will include monitoring processes, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of chemical inventory and consumption rates.
• Assist in training new staff on safety and operational procedures.
• Work closely with maintenance personnel to plan downtime for repairs.
• Ensure proper disposal of chemical waste in accordance with regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with safety protocols
• Ability to operate basic tools and equipment

Soft Skills

• Flexibility and adaptability
• Time management skills

Certifications

• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
