Nuclear Physician

Job Description

As a Nuclear Physician, you will leverage your expertise in diagnostic imaging and radiation to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions. This role involves collaborating closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive nuclear imaging studies.
• Assess and interpret radiological data for clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with other doctors for integrated patient management.
• Administer and manage radioactive materials in adherence to protocols.
• Keep thorough and accurate documentation of procedures and findings.
• Engage in community health education events.
• Conduct training for medical staff on advanced imaging techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Implement best practices for radiation safety and patient care.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Fellowship in Nuclear Medicine preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of clinical experience in nuclear medicine
