Chair Lift Operator

Job Description

As a Chair Lift Operator, your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient operation of chair lifts. You will assist guests in boarding, monitor weather conditions, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Exceptional customer service is key, as you'll address any inquiries or concerns from guests. Being a team player and having a proactive approach to safety will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the chair lifts and ensure timely service.
• Aid guests with any special needs during boarding/disembarking.
• Conduct daily safety checks and report any maintenance issues.
• Provide guidance to guests regarding safety protocols.
• Assist in emergency procedures and lift evacuations as needed.
• Maintain an approachable and friendly demeanor with guests.
• Keep the lift area tidy and organized.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions regularly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in ski resort operations or related field is advantageous.
