Teaching Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our classroom educators in facilitating engaging and effective learning experiences for students. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to implement lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and provide individualized support to students.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet students' needs.
• Provide one-on-one support to students requiring additional assistance to help them succeed academically.
• Supervise students during classroom activities and recess to ensure safety and positive behavior.
• Communicate regularly with teachers regarding student progress and areas needing improvement.
• Organize and maintain educational resources and classroom supplies for easy access.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with the school's Education Support Services team to optimize student outcomes.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and learning needs
