Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hearing Impaired Teacher to join our educational institute. You will provide specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, promoting their academic and social development.
Responsibilities
Design and adapt educational materials to meet the needs of students with hearing impairments.
Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive classroom culture.
Coordinate with audiologists and speech therapists for integrated support.
Provide feedback and information to parents about their child’s progress.
Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork to support student learning.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional strategies and interventions.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
Experience in inclusive education environments
Technical Skills
Knowledge of current special education regulations
Cochlear implant experience
Soft Skills
Problem-solving abilities
Adaptability
Certifications
Teaching certification in Special Education
Languages
English: Fluent
Advantageous
Experience with auditory-verbal therapy: Skills in using therapy techniques to support language development in hearing impaired students.
