Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hearing Impaired Teacher to join our educational institute. You will provide specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, promoting their academic and social development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and adapt educational materials to meet the needs of students with hearing impairments.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive classroom culture.
  • Coordinate with audiologists and speech therapists for integrated support.
  • Provide feedback and information to parents about their child’s progress.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork to support student learning.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional strategies and interventions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • Experience in inclusive education environments
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of current special education regulations
  • Cochlear implant experience
Soft Skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptability
Certifications
  • Teaching certification in Special Education
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with auditory-verbal therapy: Skills in using therapy techniques to support language development in hearing impaired students.
