Surgical Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Nurse to join our team at Healthcare Solutions Inc. The Surgical Nurse will play a pivotal role in assisting during surgical procedures, delivering high-quality patient care, and ensuring the surgical environment remains efficient and sterile.

Responsibilities

• Participate in surgical case discussions and planning.
• Assist with patient intake and pre-operative procedures.
• Provide high-quality care during the surgical process.
• Prepare and educate patients regarding the surgical process.
• Evaluate and document patient progress post-surgery.
• Ensure timely communication between surgical teams and patients.
• Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Nursing specialization in surgical nursing is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical nursing experience is required.

Certifications

• Certified Surgical Nurse (CSN) Certification (preferred)

• Experience in a Teaching Hospital: Experience working in a teaching hospital environment.
