Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Hearing Aid Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves conducting hearing screenings, administering tests, and working closely with patients to understand their hearing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive hearing tests on individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Document and analyze hearing test results, recommending further assessments if needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their hearing health and potential treatment options.
  • Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and professional standards of care.
  • Educate patients on hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace that adheres to health guidelines.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote hearing health awareness.
  • Implement best practices for patient follow-up and care management.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Audiology or related field (preferred)
Experience
  • Experience in audiology or hearing health services is a plus
