Job Description

As an Ophthalmic Laboratory Technician at Quality Vision Labs, you will perform quality control and production tasks to ensure the highest standards of ophthalmic products. Your expertise will be critical in product inspection, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and perform quality control checks.
• Engage in hands-on testing procedures for ophthalmic products.
• Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of testing and inspection results.
• Work with the quality assurance team to improve product standards.
• Comply with laboratory safety and operational protocols.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated.
• Provide support to new team members during onboarding.
• Help in developing laboratory best practices to minimize errors.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• An associate's degree in laboratory science or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a lab or manufacturing setting focusing on quality control.
