Job Description

We are looking for skilled Reinforcing Iron and Rebar Workers to become a part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in structural steel erection, reinforcing steel installation, and the ability to work with metal decking. Strong physical stamina and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural steel erection and ensure it meets design specifications.
• Accurately install reinforcing steel bars and mesh on job sites.
• Handle and install metal decking while ensuring structural integrity.
• Operate cranes, welding machines, and power tools safely.
• Comply with all safety standards and protocols while on-site.
• Monitor and report any equipment or tool malfunctions.
• Work in conjunction with project managers and other tradespeople.
• Understand and interpret technical drawings and project plans.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in all work areas.
• Meet project deadlines through effective time management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ironworking, with a focus on reinforcing steel and structural installations.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of metal materials
• Experience with cutting tools

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Effective communication

Certifications

• Welding certification (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working in high-rise construction: Familiarity with the unique challenges of high-rise steel erection.
• Forklift or crane operation certification: Certification in operating heavy machinery in construction environments.
