Job Description

We are seeking skilled Structural Iron and Steel Workers to join our team at Construction Services Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient erection of metal structures, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of steel and iron.
• Utilize heavy machinery effectively to transport materials on site.
• Inspect and grade materials for quality assurance.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents while working at heights.
• Assist in the training of apprentices and junior workers.
• Communicate effectively within the team to achieve project goals.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Welding or Construction preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in metal building erection or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Blueprint Reading
• Heavy Machinery Operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Training
• Welding Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Welding and Fabrication: Hands-on skills in welding and metal fabrication techniques.
• Knowledge of OSHA Regulations: Understanding of workplace safety standards and regulations.
