Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tire Builder to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various stages of tire assembly, including inspection, quality control, and the application of finishes. The role requires a good eye for detail to ensure all tires meet our stringent quality standards and are ready for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of finished tires to uphold quality standards.
• Identify and rectify any discrepancies in tire production.
• Adjust tire dimensions by trimming excess materials as necessary.
• Apply protective coatings to improve tire durability.
• Coordinate with production supervisors to optimize workflow.
• Document production processes for quality assurance.
• Assist in training new staff on finishing techniques.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area to promote efficiency.
• Be proactive in suggesting improvements to the production process.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Training in tire finishing techniques preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in tire production highly valued

Technical Skills

• Use and maintenance of tire finishing equipment
• Basic computer skills for documentation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently

Certifications

• Forklift certification preferred
