Job Description

As a Maltster, you will oversee various stages of the malting process including steeping, germination, and kilning. You will ensure that our malt meets the highest quality standards and is delivered on time to our valued customers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the malting process and interact with team members to coordinate production schedules.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout production.
  • Conduct quality assessments and maintain records for compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with the production team and management to ensure operations are running smoothly.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of processes and practices.
  • Adapt to fast-paced working conditions and troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields
  • Additional training in quality assurance is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years in the malting or brewing industry
Technical Skills
  • Industrial equipment operation
  • Regulatory compliance knowledge

Certifications
  • Certified Quality Auditor
  • Brewing Science Certification (if applicable)
