Job Description

We are actively seeking skilled Plating Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will apply protective coatings to a variety of metal and plastic components, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot plating machines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prepare surfaces prior to coating applications.
• Apply coatings accurately and efficiently for metal and plastic parts.
• Handle cleaning and degreasing processes for optimal plating results.
• Support quality assurance initiatives by performing tests.
• Assist in inventory management of plating supplies and materials.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certificate in plating or related field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in metal finishing or plating

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of electroplating
• Problem-solving abilities

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with pulse electroplating: Experience using pulse electroplating technology for precision applications.
• Familiarity with aerospace or automotive standards: Knowledge of specific plating requirements for aerospace or automotive applications.
