Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Columbus team. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient education, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Ideal candidates have a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of prescription orders and patient information.
• Educate patients about their medications and potential side effects.
• Work with physicians to adjust medication therapy based on patient response.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment in compliance with laws.
• Perform regular checks on medication inventory and expiration dates.
• Provide reliable health advice and recommendations to patients.
• Participate in health promotion activities within the community.
• Ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
• Post-graduate training (residency) is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of clinical pharmacy experience
