Job Description

The Clinical Medical Surgical Nurse will provide comprehensive care and support to patients in a medical-surgical unit. Key responsibilities include assisting with procedures, administering medications, and closely monitoring patient health and progress.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and the medical team.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care objectives.
  • Provide direct bedside care and monitor vital signs regularly.
  • Assist in training and supervising junior nursing staff and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in a teaching hospital or surgical environment
