We are looking for an Educational, Guidance, and Career Counselor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to individuals navigating personal, academic, and career-related challenges. Your insights will help shape their future paths towards success.

Responsibilities

• Offer consultative services to individuals seeking guidance in academic and career planning.
• Assist clients in identifying their skills, interests, and values related to career choices.
• Organize and lead career fairs and networking events.
• Utilize counseling software to manage client information and progress effectively.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Work with a diverse range of populations, including those from underserved backgrounds.
• Monitor and evaluate client outcomes to adapt services and improve effectiveness.
• Engage in outreach activities to promote counseling services to potential clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or Counseling
• Master's degree in Counseling or Psychology is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in academic advising or counseling

Technical Skills

• Data Management Systems (e.g., PowerSchool)
• Video Conferencing Tools (e.g., Zoom, Skype)

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Mentorship experience: Experience supervising interns or junior counselors.
• Experience in K-12 settings: Working knowledge of the K-12 education system and its challenges.
