Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clergy member to provide spiritual care and support to our congregation. The ideal candidate will work closely with church leadership to promote spiritual growth, provide counseling services, and coordinate various outreach programs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular visitations to the sick, elderly, and bereaved.
  • Guide congregational members through life transitions and challenges.
  • Work with local organizations to improve community outreach efforts.
  • Offer workshops and seminars on spiritual development.
  • Participate actively in church committees and task forces.
  • Support the administrative functions of the church.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local faith-based organizations.
  • Analyze community needs and adapt church offerings accordingly.
  • Encourage volunteer involvement in church activities and local initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to church policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Theology, Social Work, or related field
  • Master's degree with a focus on pastoral care is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in community service or church leadership roles
