Job Description

As a Shell Molder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality metal castings using the shell molding technique. You'll work with various materials, including aluminum and steel, ensuring that the products meet our exacting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and adjust molds and machines prior to casting operations.
  • Conduct quality inspections of cast products, documenting results.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the development of improved production techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and maintenance activities.
  • Engage in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Vocational training in metallurgy or related field preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in foundry operations or metal casting
Technical Skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings

Languages
  • English: Fluent
