As a Shell Molder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality metal castings using the shell molding technique. You'll work with various materials, including aluminum and steel, ensuring that the products meet our exacting standards.
Responsibilities
Set up and adjust molds and machines prior to casting operations.
Conduct quality inspections of cast products, documenting results.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment repairs.
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Assist in the development of improved production techniques.
Maintain accurate records of production and maintenance activities.
Engage in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Vocational training in metallurgy or related field preferred
Experience
3-5 years of experience in foundry operations or metal casting
