Job Description

The Textile Coating Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used for coating textiles. This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal operation of coating machines.
• Adjust machine settings for proper coating thickness.
• Document production runs and inventory accurately.
• Implement quality control processes during production.
• Collaborate with the production team to enhance productivity.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Technical training in textile technology is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Technical drawings
• Lean manufacturing principles

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Lean manufacturing experience: Experience applying lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
