Job Description

The Geodetic Surveyor will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting aerial photographs to identify geographic features for various industries. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong attention to detail and enjoy working independently. This role is essential for facilitating critical decisions across diverse projects.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret aerial and satellite imagery to extract relevant data.
  • Ensure that all outputs are completed within set deadlines.
  • Work with the IT department to integrate new software tools into workflow.
  • Attend project meetings to discuss progress and present findings.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by providing expert advice.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to enhance data accuracy.
  • Keep meticulous records of analyses for future reference and audits.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geomatics, or related field
  • Master's degree in Geospatial Science preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in related fields
