As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and resolving issues in a timely manner. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. This role is critical in maintaining our standards and enhancing the company's operational capabilities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create and manage vendor relationships to enhance collaboration.
  • Conduct regular assessments of vendor performance.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts and renewals with our vendors.
  • Address and resolve vendor disputes efficiently.
  • Set expectations for vendor deliverables and track adherence.
  • Provide ongoing training to vendors about company policies and processes.
  • Implement strategies for cost savings and improved vendor efficiencies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations affecting vendor management.
  • Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance teams.
  • Prepare detailed reports for upper management on vendor management initiatives and outcomes.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) High proficiency in MS Office tools for data management.
  • Vendor Management Systems (VMS) Skilled in VMS for tracking vendor information and performance.
  • Excellent communication Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving Strong analytical skills for conflict resolution.
  • Organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
  • English (Fluent)

  • Experience in contract negotiation and drafting: Strong background in negotiating contracts with vendors.
