Job Description

As a Motor Electrician, you will play a critical role in the automotive industry by installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in motor vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of electrical systems, and experience with automotive equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems in motor vehicles.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting faults.
  • Document all repair and maintenance activities in the system.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source necessary parts and components.
  • Provide feedback on electrical system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
  • Assist in special projects involving new electrical technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or relevant certification
  • Valid electrician license
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in the automotive or transportation industry.
