Job Description

The Cantilever Crane Operator is crucial in safely operating and maintaining cantilever cranes in various industrial settings. This role demands high responsibility, ensuring that all crane operations follow the highest safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely operations of lifting through effective communication with the site team.
  • Monitor load weights and ensure that weight limits are not exceeded.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to an environment of operational safety.
  • Train and mentor junior operators on crane operations and safety protocols.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections on cranes and report any issues.
  • Regularly check rigging equipment for defects and replace when necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience operating other types of cranes is a plus.
Technical Skills
  • Heavy Equipment Operation
Soft Skills
  • Critical Thinking
Certifications
  • Additional certifications in rigging and hoisting are preferred.
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or diagrams: Understanding technical documents is a plus for crane operations.
