Job Description
As a Grader and Sorter in our seafood processing team, you will be responsible for inspecting and sorting clams based on size, quality, and freshness. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to maintain our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
Sort and grade clams to ensure quality control.
Clean and maintain processing equipment regularly.
Document quality control measures and any discrepancies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency in operations.
Report any quality issues to the Clam Sorting Supervisor.
Participate in training sessions for new employees.
Adhere to safety standards in the processing environment.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Food safety certification preferred
Experience
Prior experience in seafood processing or quality control preferred
