Signal Inspector

Job Description

As a Signal Inspector, you will be integral in maintaining and inspecting signal systems, such as traffic lights and railroad crossings. You will ensure they operate safely and meet regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail and solid experience in signal inspection.

Responsibilities

• Assess the performance of signal systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on malfunctioning signal systems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate necessary repairs and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Provide support during emergency response situations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in railway signaling systems preferred
