Children and Youth Ministries Director

Job Description

As the Children and Youth Ministries Director, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of ministry programs. You will lead a team of volunteers, provide guidance, and create opportunities for spiritual development among children and youth in our community.

Responsibilities

• Craft and maintain a strategic plan for youth engagement and spiritual development.
• Work closely with volunteers to execute successful ministry initiatives.
• Lead age-appropriate activities that encourage engagement and faith development.
• Oversee the planning and execution of community outreach events.
• Provide guidance through counseling and mentorship for youth.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to support the spiritual journey of their children.
• Develop training materials for volunteer leaders to enhance their effectiveness.
• Participate in community activities to promote the ministry’s outreach.
• Conduct regular assessments to enhance program offerings.
• Engage with local organizations to strengthen partnerships.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Theology or a related field
• Ordained minister status highly desirable

Experience

• Proven experience in children and youth ministry leadership roles
