Job Description

As a Smoke Control Supervisor, you will manage the operation and maintenance of smoke control systems while ensuring compliance with safety codes. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various departments to enhance fire safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of smoke control systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Analyze operational data to improve efficiency and effectiveness of smoke control systems.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for smoke control technicians.
  • Assist in emergency drills and ensure readiness of smoke control measures.
  • Document and report any safety incidents or equipment failures promptly.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to smoke control system performance.
  • Collaborate with local fire department and safety officials for safety inspections.
  • Manage budgets and resources for smoke control systems maintenance and operations.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations to team members.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field
  • Additional certifications in fire safety or related fields are a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in fire safety and smoke control systems management.
