Weatherization Installers and Technicians

Job Description

We're looking for Weatherization Installers and Technicians to enhance energy efficiency practices. You will be responsible for installing and sealing products that improve insulation and reduce energy costs. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction and environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure insulation is applied correctly for optimal energy efficiency.
• Handle and install materials safely, including insulation and sealants.
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Train new team members on installation techniques and safety procedures.
• Document installation processes and report on progress to management.
• Assist in inventory management to ensure the availability of supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service during installations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in glass sealing or a related field (preferred)

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Strong manual dexterity
• Knowledge of safety protocols

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with green building practices: Knowledge of sustainable energy-saving methods.
