Job Description

As a Chemical Plant and System Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining utility systems, including boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems. The role demands compliance with safety standards and efficiency protocols to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operation of water treatment plants and electrical distribution systems.
  • Conduct regular maintenance inspections and resolve equipment issues.
  • Adjust system parameters to optimize performance.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of system operations and incidents.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams for system upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Assist in training new operators on system operations.
  • Evaluate and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and actual emergency situations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in utility operations or related field
Technical Skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • SCADA systems proficiency
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Certifications
