Job Description

As a Fiber Optic Central Office Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables and equipment. We seek detail-oriented individuals with excellent technical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of fiber optic installations.
• Document and report on installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Provide technical support during installations and troubleshoot issues.
• Use specialized testing equipment to verify installation integrity.
• Participate in project planning for fiber optic rollouts.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
• Industry certifications such as CFOT, CFOS/T, or CFOS/D are preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance.
