Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Inspect animals for signs of illness and injury.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Conduct surgical operations when necessary.
  • Assist in developing practice policies and procedures.
  • Engage in client education initiatives.
  • Participate in continuing education programs.
  • Supervise and train junior veterinary staff.
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Specialty training is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years in a clinical setting with companion animals
