Job Description

Join our team as a Calcine Furnace Tender, where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining calcine furnace equipment within our manufacturing facility. This role is essential to ensure efficient production processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of furnaces and associated equipment.
• Work with maintenance teams to execute repairs and upgrades.
• Support the development of best practices for furnace operations.
• Document any deviations from operational standards and report to management.
• Maintain a proactive stance on workplace safety and incident prevention.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in manufacturing processes is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years in operating industrial furnaces or related equipment.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of metallurgical processes
• Safety procedure knowledge

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Safety and Environmental Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in safety programs such as OSHA or similar: Completion of relevant safety training is advantageous.
• Experience with maintenance and repair of furnace equipment: Prior experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery will be a plus.
