Calciner Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Calciner Operator to join our team. The Calciner Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the calciner machine efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the calcination process and equipment functionality to meet production goals.
• Coordinate with quality control teams to ensure product quality.
• Document production data and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
• Train and guide less experienced operators in the correct procedures and safety measures.
• Implement improvements in operational processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college education in a technical field is preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Calciner Operator or similar role.

Technical Skills

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility to work in shifts and overtime, if required

Certifications

• Calciner Operation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of environmental regulations: Understanding of compliance aspects for operation and maintenance.
• Experience with equipment troubleshooting: Hands-on troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime.
