Job Description

As a Collision Repair Estimator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that vehicles are restored to their pre-accident conditions. You will assess vehicle damage and provide precise estimates for repairs while collaborating closely with insurance adjusters and repair technicians. Your expertise will help maintain our commitment to customer satisfaction and quality.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate vehicle damage and prepare detailed damage reports.
• Prepare accurate estimates of repair costs for customer approval.
• Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters regarding claims processes.
• Order necessary parts and materials for repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensure all repairs are completed following safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of estimates and repairs conducted.
• Monitor industry developments to enhance estimation processes.
• Foster relationships with local repair shops and adjusters.
• Attend industry seminars and workshops to enhance estimating skills.
• Provide recommendations for improving customer service and repair quality.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary education in automotive repair or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in automotive estimating or repair management

Technical Skills

• Motor Vehicle Knowledge

Certifications

• Certified Automotive Appraiser

Languages

• English: Fluent
