Metal-Refining Furnace Operator

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Metal-Refining Furnace Operator to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring furnace operations and ensuring safety and efficiency in metal refining processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations are performed within safety and environmental regulations.
• Handle metal scrap and waste materials according to company procedures.
• Maintain records of production rates and report discrepancies.
• Support other production team members as needed during peak periods.
• Perform inspections and assist maintenance teams in repairs.
• Provide input for continuous improvement initiatives within the production line.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in metal refining or heavy machine operation

• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
