Job Description

As a Dramatic Coach, you will be at the forefront of helping aspiring actors develop their skills. You'll lead workshops, provide constructive feedback, and foster a supportive environment for growth. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about the arts and enjoys working closely with students, guiding them in script analysis, character development, and enhancing their performance techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging and immersive acting workshops aimed at diverse skill levels.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching for students preparing for auditions and performances.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that focus on both theory and practice of acting.
  • Evaluate student performances and offer actionable feedback for improvement.
  • Create a positive and nurturing environment to foster creativity and confidence.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and collaborate with other departments to enhance the curriculum.
  • Encourage students to explore their unique interpretations and personal styles.
  • Stay informed on current trends in performing arts and adapt teachings accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Theatre or a related field
  • Advanced degree in Drama or related field is a plus
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in coaching actors of various backgrounds
