Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization from cyber threats. This includes designing, implementing, and managing security systems to safeguard sensitive information, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current security measures and recommend improvements.
• Conduct training for employees on security best practices.
• Assist in the development of incident response plans.
• Document security breaches and assess damages.
• Work with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Test security systems and report on effectiveness.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate security into application development.
• Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Hands-on experience with ISO 27001: Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards for information security management.
• Experience with CISM or CISSP: Possession of advanced certifications in information security management.
