Job Description

We are seeking skilled Grinding, Lapping, Polishing, and Buffing Machine Tool Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our production team at Manufacturing Solutions Inc. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that surfaces of metal and plastic components meet high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for operation by performing necessary adjustments and calibrations.
• Polish and buff surfaces to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine processes and enhance product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.
• Monitor machine performance and report irregularities to the supervisor.
• Follow detailed operating instructions to achieve efficiency.
• Participate in safety audits and comply with safety regulations.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification in machining or similar training is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Surface Finishing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CNC equipment is an advantage: Knowledge of CNC operations will enhance your skill set.
