Job Description

As a Harp Maker, you will play a vital role in crafting high-quality harps, using various materials and techniques. Responsibilities

  • Hands-on construction and assembly of harps.
  • Select and prepare materials for harp making.
  • Collaborate with the design team to innovate harp designs.
  • Document production processes and quality checks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve build challenges.
  • Participate in workshops to enhance skills and techniques.
  • Engage with local musicians to receive feedback on instrument functionality.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships for material sourcing.
  • Train apprentices or less experienced staff in harp making techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Apprenticeship completion in instrument making is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field
