As an Ophthalmic Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in the production of eyewear by operating advanced edgers and ensuring the precision of the lenses. Responsibilities

• Effectively operate and maintain precision edging equipment for lenses.
• Inspect, verify, and adjust lenses for quality and adherence to prescriptions.
• Engage with team members to achieve daily production and quality targets.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
• Document production data accurately to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot issues with equipment and product quality promptly.
• Assist in the development of training materials for new hires.
• Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure consistent performance.
• Adapt to changes in production demands and schedule effectively.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in optical manufacturing.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in optical technology preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or optical environment.
