We are seeking a skilled Fingerprint Technician who will handle the capturing and processing of fingerprints for various legal and employment purposes. The role requires a solid understanding of forensic science and exceptional organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize specialized fingerprint scanning and imaging equipment.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards in fingerprint processing.
• Assist in training new staff on fingerprint capturing techniques.
• Respond to inquiries and provide information on fingerprint services.
• Maintain organized records and documentation of fingerprint activities.
• Collaborate with other forensic specialists to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a fingerprint technician training program or equivalent experience

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in fingerprint capture and processing

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a law enforcement or security agency: Demonstrated experience in a related field provides valuable context to the role.

• Certification as a Certified Latent Print Examiner (CLPE): Possession of a relevant certification is advantageous.
