Job Description

As a Remote Sensing Technician, you will pilot Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) to gather essential data across diverse industries. Your role involves operating advanced drone technology, analyzing collected data, and collaborating with clients to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Pilot RPAS for aerial surveys, inspections, and data collection.
• Analyze and interpret data for clients, delivering actionable insights.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and troubleshooting on RPAS.
• Collaborate with the project team to optimize data collection strategies.
• Prepare reports detailing flight operations and data analysis findings.
• Engage with clients to understand their specific data needs.
• Train junior technicians in RPAS operation and data collection methods.
• Monitor weather conditions and assess the suitability for flights.
• Assist in developing best practices for safety and operational efficiency.
• Document and track all flight logs and data collection activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Environmental Science

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in data processing and analysis for various industries

Technical Skills

• RPAS hardware and equipment knowledge
• GIS mapping and data visualization

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent
