Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Stock Preparation Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining stock preparation equipment such as pulpers, screens, and cleaners. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth production processes and maintaining the quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Operate pulpers and ensure the smooth flow of stock.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report malfunctions.
• Adjust process settings to maintain acceptable quality standards.
• Facilitate communication between departments to streamline operations.
• Help train new operators on equipment usage and safety procedures.
• Record production metrics for analysis and reporting.
• Participate in safety audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in manufacturing processes is a plus

Experience

• Experience in pulp and paper manufacturing is a plus

Technical Skills

• Pulp processing knowledge
• Proficiency in computerized systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Communication skills

Advantageous

• Familiarity with environmental regulations: Knowledge of environmental compliance standards in manufacturing.
• Experience operating specific stock preparation machines: Hands-on experience with pulpers and refiners.
