Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mixing and Blending Machine Setter to oversee the production of our syrup line. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in food manufacturing and a deep understanding of food chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mix ingredients according to specifications.
• Calibrate machines as required for blending and mixing processes.
• Monitor the blending and mixing processes to ensure consistency.
• Participate in the development of new syrup flavors.
• Utilize production software for tracking and managing processes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college coursework in Food Science preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a food production environment

Technical Skills

• Recipe Development
• Inventory Management

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of FDA regulations: Familiarity with guidelines and regulations concerning food safety.
• Experience with quality control processes: Hands-on experience with quality assurance methodologies.
