Job Description

Become a part of our innovative team as a Pigment Furnace Tender. This role requires you to operate and maintain our state-of-the-art furnace equipment, ensuring efficiency and quality in pigment production. Candidates with problem-solving skills and a teamwork mindset will excel.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate furnace equipment for production runs.
• Conduct tests on pigments to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Track inventory levels of raw materials and communicate needs to supervisors.
• Prepare and maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with environmental regulations related to pigment production.
• Assist in the implementation of new production processes as needed.
• Act as a liaison between production and quality assurance teams.
• Document all production processes and outcomes accurately.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in pigment furnace operation or similar roles is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with chemical safety procedures: Familiarity with safety regulations in chemical manufacturing.
