Landscaping and Groundskeeping Worker

Job Description

As a Golf Course Maintenance Worker, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our greens, fairways, and bunkers are always in pristine condition. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turf by mowing, edging, and trimming as necessary.
• Conduct seasonal planting, pruning, and fertilization of landscaping.
• Ensure the operation of course equipment is safe and effective.
• Perform ongoing maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Monitor the health of landscaping and report any issues.
• Participate in course preparation for tournaments and events.
• Maintain the cleanliness of paths and cart routes.
• Assist in snow removal or other weather-related tasks during off-season.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to golfers and guests.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience preferred in landscaping or related field.

Technical Skills

• Tractor Operation
• Equipment Maintenance

• Problem-solving
• Communication Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with heavy machinery: Experience operating heavy landscaping equipment.
• Certifications in pesticide application: Helpful to have certifications for safe pesticide use.
