Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team, focusing on diagnosing and treating children with neurological disorders. The ideal candidate will be experienced in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing supportive therapy to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed assessments of children’s cognitive and emotional development.
  • Create effective treatment protocols to address individual challenges presented by patients.
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
  • Engage in family therapy sessions to foster understanding and support.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of assessments and treatments provided.
  • Participate in significant research and contribute to published studies.
  • Educate children and families about neurological disorders and available therapies.
  • Contribute to the development of training modules for interns and new staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Child Psychology
  • Accredited internship completed
Experience
  • 3+ years of direct experience in pediatric neuropsychology

  • New York State Psychology License
