Job Description

As a Blood Tester, you'll handle blood samples and perform tests to provide critical information in healthcare. We are looking for candidates with experience in laboratory settings and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Extract and analyze blood samples for various tests.
  • Maintain detailed logs of sample collections and results.
  • Notify supervisors of abnormal results or quality issues.
  • Ensure proper waste disposal and cleanliness of the lab area.
  • Conduct phlebotomy as needed for patient testing.
  • Assist with lab audits and inspections.
  • Engage in professional development and training programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
  • Certification in Blood Testing preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
Technical Skills
  • Laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
  • Medical equipment operation

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations: Understanding of safety regulations in the laboratory.
